Nader
Tamannaie, the founder of CIC, has over 28 years of experience
designing, developing, and managing transportation and urban
infrastructure projects in California. Nader began his career
at California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) in 1979,
developing a career specialty in transportation structures.
Since 1986, when he joined the consulting community, he has
had key roles in such diverse projects as:
- The Metro Blue Green Light Rail Transit Projects in Los
Angeles County
- Over 75 seismic retrofit projects statewide, including
the 280/87 Interchange
- Design check of the marine foundations of the new Benicia
Martinez Bridge
- Spearheading the Highway Bridge Program process for 83
City of Los Angeles bridges, including several Historic
bridges
- The Eastern and Foothill-South Transportation Corridor
Design Build Projects in Orange County
- Bid development for Colorado's E-470, Salt Lake City's
LRT, and Alameda Corridor's (Los Angeles) Grade Separation
design build projects
- Howard Hughes Parkway Interchange, 65/80 Interchange and
8/125 Interchange
- Numerous land development infrastructure projects in northern
California and Nevada
- Numerous State and Local Agency transportation projects
statewide
- Developing and managing three signature and Historic Bridge
projects for City of Larkspur, Marin County
Three of Nader's projects, Barranca Parkway HOV Drop Ramp,
Eastern Transportation Corridor and Lawrence Expressway HOV
Project have won awards from Caltrans, APWA and numerous other
professional organizations.
Nader's daily responsibilities, besides running CIC and its
general support, include developing projects and securing
governmental funds for clients, designing and managing projects,
quality control, and construction support.
